These are exciting times for Burbage Junior School. With a new Executive Headteacher in post, and a new Deputy Headteacher to begin in September, in addition to two skilled and experienced Assistant Heads, we are looking for an oustanding class teacher to join us on our adventure to create the best educational experience we possibly can for our 376 Key Stage 2 children.

The village of Burbage is located on the outskirts of Hinckley.  It can be easily reached from Nuneaton, Coventry and Leicester as it is near the M69 and A5.  The school is near the old village centre which is a conservation area.  The feeder Infant School is just across the road from the Junior School.   

The school is set in spacious grounds and has excellent facilities.  These include extensive playground space, a large playing field, an impressive library, an ICT suite and a swimming pool.

Job Purpose

·         To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate. 

·         To monitor, evaluate and support the overall progress and development of pupils.

·         To ensure a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

·         To ensure the best standards of pupil’s achievement and attainment.

·         To support and contribute to the school's ethos and values.
