Admissions
Our Governors have adopted the Local Authority's admission policy. Please click here to go to the Leicestershire County Council website for further information about school admissions and policies.
Most of our children transfer from Burbage CofE Infant School, although a small number come from other schools. Please note that if your child is at the Infant School, admission is not automatic, and you will still need to apply for a place by January of the year your child is in Year 2. The planned admissions number (PAN) for the school at present is 94. A range of visits and induction activities are arranged for all new entrants during the term prior to admission to school.
The School has an Inclusion Policy which states that no child with Special Educational Needs will be denied a place or access to the curriculum without full consultation with the child’s parents and the Local Authority. We endeavour to make all reasonable adjustments to ensure inclusion of any child with Special Educational Needs. The school has full disabled access and disabled toilet facilities. Our Accessibility plan and Equality schemes are on the Policies section of this website.
You are welcome to make an appointment with the Headteacher to view the school. Please telephone 01455 630970 to book onto one of our group tours.
